What Are Some Common Symptoms of Gluten Sensitivity or Celiac Disease? | #AskAnne


One of the most frequently asked questions among those who switch to a gluten-free diet is about the common symptoms of gluten-sensitivity and celiac disease. We asked resident dietitian and Director of Nutritional Services for Dr. Schar USA, Dr. Anne, to help answer this question in our new video series #AskAnne.

The most recognized symptoms of celiac disease and GS are those that affect the GI tract such as bloating, diarrhea, belly pain, reflux etc. However many individuals, especially adults present with the non-GI symptoms including anemia, infertility, bone loss, neurological symptoms of brain fog, migraines, neuropathy. Each individual may react differently.
